#tbt: London

I've been thinking a lot this week about England and all the brilliant times I had during my TCU study abroad experience a couple years back. Here's a throwback shot of Jarrett in front of Tower Bridge during one of our late night walks in central London. I'm shooting some portraits with this guy next week and I couldn't be more pumped.

I typically go for walks in the evenings, but tonight the universe was quietly urging me to bring my camera along. It took all of five minutes of walking to stumble upon this guy in the process of proposing to this girl. There were a lot of friends shooting different angles during the actual proposal, but I did want to get a photo of the happy couple after the fact. Completely unlike me, I didn't ask their names when I snapped this shot (so please let me know if you know them). I can't explain how fun it is to photograph people in these deeply joyful moments.

EDIT: Their names are Sarah and Jesse. Woo internet! (and I'm told she's an Olympic rifleist)

Alex

Yesterday, I got to enjoy the wonderful Texas weather we've been having by meeting up with Alex to shoot some portraits for his website. He is currently a journalism student, about to graduate from TCU. We wandered around the TCU campus to find some fun spots to shoot, though Moudy (the college of communication building, for those who don't know) was creating some fun light to shoot in during the early evening. Keep an eye out for him on your TV sets, people.
